Built-in Vacuum

Standard on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited is a Stow ‘n Vac integrate vacuum system, positioned conveniently for easy use near the driver-side sliding door. It has a 4-foot extension hose so it will stretch to every corner of the Pacifica.

The vacuum delivers 50 air watts of suction and can operate on battery along for 10 minutes, but an indicator light will let you know when its time to turn on the Pacifica so the battery doesn’t drain all the way.

An air filter and the vacuum receptacle are located behind the third-row seat, near where the extension hose resides.

Stow’n Go seating

All models of 2017 Chrysler Pacifica come with second- and third-row Stow ‘N Go seating that can fold flat into the floor. When the second-row bucket seats aren’t being stowed, the areas where they go can be used as storage bins!

At the press of a button, the front-drivers’ seat will move forward so that the second-row seats are easily stowed. Press the button again and the driver’s seat will return to its original position. If the system detects an obstacle, it will automatically stop.

Limited models get automatic second-row passenger seat assist. When pressing the same button, not only will the front passenger seats move forward, but the second-row seats will stow into the floor automatically. Press it again, and the seats will return to a sitting position.

Hybrid Technology

Later this year, the first hybrid system in a minivan will be hitting dealership showrooms and it’s in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica! This system mates the 3.6L V6 engine with a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor.

You’ll be able to drive an entire 30 miles on EV power alone, and afterwards the engine will kick in to power the wheels or charge the battery. The specially adapted 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine in the hybrid system has been specially-engineering to allow it to work in tandem with the electric motor.

If a hybrid system isn’t your thing, you can also equip the 287-horsepower, 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with 262-lb.ft. of torque. It also offers an incredible 28 mpg on the highway, according to Chrysler.
