Official: Infiniti announces minor changes to 2015 QX50 and QX70

Infiniti got on the news wire to announce some minor changes to the 2015 QX50 (formerly the EX) and the QX70 (formerly the FX). According to the release, the 2015 Infiniti QX50 receives the¬†Bluetooth Hands-Free system as standard on all models while serving up a price reduction of $2,500 overall–base models increase by $150. Alternatively, the larger and more eloquent QX70 carries over unchanged, except for the exclusion of the 5.0L V8, which is no longer available for the 2015 model year. Report: Infiniti still adamant about an entry-level crossover

AutomotiveNews recently sat down with Nissan’s Executive Vice President, Andy Palmer, who shared that Infiniti is still interested in an entry-level crossover below the QX50, or the formerly named EX37. The model will most likely be built to compete against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and the Audi Q3. Previous rumors hinted at a rebadged and slightly reengineered version of the Nissan Juke, but Palmer downplayed those reports as speculation.
