Report: Maserati Alfieri could be approved for production next month

Bloomberg recently learned that Maserati could give the Alfieri Concept an approval for production as early as next month. Reports in the past indicated that Fiat’s CEO, Sergio Marchionne, suggested the Alfieri could make it into production following lots of positive reception from the press–like us. After speaking with “sources” within Fiat, CEO Marchionne is rumored to announce the official decision on May 6. Maserati released a new video outlining the process and inspiration sourced for the drop-dead gorgeous Alfieri Concept from the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Maserati unveiled its all-new and anticipated Alfieri Concept, which hints at a new entry-level sports coupe that will compete against the likes of the Porsche 911 and the Jaguar F-Type.
