Report: Mercedes-Benz GL-Class to get new twin-turbo V6

German media, Auto Motor und Sport, reports that the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class will come equipped with a 3.0L V6 assisted by two snails. Similarly to the E-Class sedan, which receives the same 3.0L twin-turbo V6 for the 2015 E400, the newly equipped GL will receive the GL400 nameplate, serving up around 327hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 should occur in just 6.7 seconds. Report: Mercedes could be working on larger GL variant, could trigger Aston Martin SUV

More news has developed surrounding Mercedes-Benz’s latest tie-up with Aston Martin.
