Back in the late 60s, Don Yenko came out with his Yenko Camaro powered by Corvette engines – yet no one was able to race the Yenko under the Chevrolet name. So, Chevrolet came out with the COPO (Central Office Production Order) Camaro with the 427 Corvette engine. At the 2015 SEMA, the COPO Camaro legacy gets a new concept with the 2016 COPO Camaro Courtney Force Concept. This beast is powered by either an LS-based or LT1-based naturally aspirated engine driving a 3-speed automatic THM 400 transmission, along with many other performance improvements.
Though, the styling of this concept it what truly sets this concept apart from all other COPO Camaros. NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) driver Courtney Force designed this concept to be auctioned off for charity at Barrett Jackson. It offers Courtney Force graphics and unique interior and exterior improvements.
