Report: Land Rover may offer more individual personalization

A new report is in from IndianAutosBlog, who reports that Land Rover may be expanding their customization efforts for their top-shelf Range Rover SUV. According to the report, Land Rover could embark on some new programs that are similar to BMW’s Individual program, as well as Mercedes-Benz’s Designo programs, all of which offer a nearly-unlimited way to customize your car to your particular liking.

In the past, you were able to purchase a more luxurious and customized Range Rover, also known as the Autobiography model. Now, LR seeks to expand on this concept with a long-wheelbase first-class Range Rover that starts at around $185,000.

After speaking with LR’s designer, Gerry McGovern, Land Rover is only tailoring this program to their most wealthy clients, named Land Rover Individual Products Division. This will allow the automaker to build a Range Rover to anyone’s custom liking.
