Europe’s AutomotiveNews branch apparently learned that Fiat-Chrysler will be further integrating Ferrari into its portfolio even more by serving up Ferrari-powered Alfa Romeos.
Yup, according to the finding, high-end Alfa Romeos, both SUV crossovers and future sedans, will be powered by Ferrari engines. This is apart of Alfa Romeo’s new plan to introduce seven new models by 2018, not including this year’s 4C Spider.
Next year, the brand is expected to introduce a Spider in tandem with the Mazda MX-5 Miata on which it shares its engineering and construction with. A sedan is expected with a wagon version in 2017 with a crossover supposedly being prepared for by 2018.
