The 2015 BMW X6 is here for the second generation and the Roundel just published the official pricing details after launching the online configurator.
According to the site, the new 2015 BMW X6 starts casually at $60,550, including the $950 destination charge. For that, the X6 life starts with the sDrive35i model, meaning rear-wheel drive only and the brand’s venerable 3.0L TwinPower turbo inline-six good for 300hp. Should those in more temperate climates require xDrive all-wheel go-power, that’ll require an additional $2,300 from the wallet.
The next level up is the X6 xDrive50i with xDrive as standard. Under the hood, like the X5, sits a 4.4L TwinPower V8 with twin-turbo goodness to provide a lofty 450hp. You’ll need $73,850 and your signature for the keys to that, kind sir/ma’am.
All receive a ZF-sourced eight-speed Steptronic automatic and standard iDrive. Should you want the M Sport Package for the X6 M wannabe–just because the X6 M has yet to be revealed–an additional $3,500 is required on the final invoice. Need Jarvis to help you with driver aids consisting of a backup camera and a heads-up display? Don’t forget to tick the options box for the $1,400 Driver Assitance package. But if you dolly up the full beans for the X6 xDrive50i, the Driver Assistance Package comes standard.
