The Lincoln Corsair was revealed yesterday at the New York Auto Show, and to celebrate, Lincoln just dropped this video showing the gorgeous machine in motion.
Now, we’ve said in the past that the small crossover isn’t the exactly the easiest shape to get right, but the designers who penned the Corsair absolutely nailed it with this one. The styling here is almost enough for us to forgive the company for only releasing the Continental with suicide doors in an extremely limited number. We kid — but only because we think Lincoln will release a mass market version at some point in the future.
That said, buyers will get a choice of two engines, a 2.0-liter turbo making 250 horsepower, or a 2.3-liter turbo pumping out 280 horsepower. If those numbers have you scratching your head, you’re not alone, because it sure seems like if you’re going to offer two different engines, it makes sense the power delta would be more than 30 ponies. Expect a full report when we get to drive both models later this year.
Watch the video below, and if you like what you see, head to your local AutoNation-affiliated Lincoln dealer to take a test drive. If it’s anything like some of the recent Lincoln’s we’ve reviewed, you’ll be impressed!
