Four Silverado Concepts Chevy is Bringing to SEMA 2018: Gallery

It’s that time of year — SEMA 2018 is just around the corner. And to warm up for the crazy display of vehicular mayhem, Chevy has released shots of four Silverado concept trucks it’ll be bringing to the show. Now, I think calling these “concepts” is a bit of a stretch, as they aren’t wild one-offs built to express a design philosophy, but rather modified factory vehicles made to show off the bevy of accessories and performance parts available directly from the General.

But in a world where four-doors can be coupes, and “literally” often means “figuratively,” we’re not going to get all bent out of shape over nomenclature — because these trucks look boss. We’ll have plenty of live shots from the floor after the doors open at the Convention Center in Sin City, so until then, check out pictures and details on them all below!

Silverado High Country Concept

Along with a two-inch lift, a cat-back exhaust, a cold-air intake, and Brembo brakes, this Silverado features a bevy of flashy bits, including an illuminated Bowtie in the grille and a chrome tailgate handle. But it also gets some handy features like a lockable center console and an under-seat organizer. Plus, there’s a rear-seat infotainment system — so it’s a proper cowboy Cadillac.

Silverado LTZ Concept

The focus of this concept is towing, so it’s a little curious that Chevy didn’t include any shots of it towing a trailer, or the Trailering Camera Package, which sounds mighty handy. It features a detachable camera that be placed on the trailer, so the view from the way back can be viewed on the dash. Sounds like it’ll make hauling —  and especially parking — a trailer a lot less stressful. If you’re going to be pulling toys, it sounds like a no-brainer to opt for.

Silverado RST Street

A lowered suspension gives the RST Street a more aggressive stance, and the high-gloss 22-wheels look great. This rig also gets a set of Brembos, a Borla cat-back exhaust a cold-air intake, and a cool one-piece UnderCover hard tonneau cover. There’s also a 200-watt Kicker amp to make sure you can hear your tunes over the engine.

Silverado RST Off Road

As you’d expect on an off-roader, the RST Off Road features lift kit, and there’s also a sport bar package and sport assist steps, along with a 40-inch LED light bar courtesy of Baja Designs. We think the 18-inch wheels in Carbon Flash also look pretty trick.

Of course, the Silverado and all the assorted accessories are available at your local AutoNation Chevrolet dealer. So if you like what you see, head down and pay them a visit!
