Chevy always brings a host of awesome product to SEMA, and this year will be no exception. We’ve already gotten a peak at the four versions of the Silverado we’ll see on the floor, and now, the company has released some teaser pics of another vehicle set for the show. Given the Shock yellow hue, it will likely be impossible to miss this 2019 Camaro SS. According to the press release, Shock will be available early in the new year.
Along with the electrifying greenish-yellow exterior, the Camaro on display will feature a restyled front end, which replaces the 2019 model’s largely black front fascia. At this point, the big question is whether Chevy is using SEMA to test a refreshed design. Because while the performance of all recent Camaros has been widely praised, the 2019 sheet metal fell flat with some fans.
So if this goes over well? We wouldn’t be too surprised if the Camaro was refreshed a little ahead of schedule. Only time will tell.
What we know for sure is there will be a bevy of official parts and accessories on display in Sin City, including a new black spoiler, revised ground effects, a carbon-fiber and black fuel door, and black Camaro badges. Along with the exterior bits, performance-oriented folks will be pleased to learn that in addition to Recaro seats and cold-air intakes, the trick suspension components from the track-focused 1LE model will also be available as standalone parts.
Of course, everything will be available through your local AutoNation Chevy dealer, so whether you want to install them yourself or let the techs handle the greasy bits, you’re covered. Stay tuned for more news about SEMA 2018!
