One of the most exciting new concepts shown at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show is the new Chevrolet-FNR. Taking a look into “mobility of the future,” the Chevrolet-FNR Concept is an autonomous driving electric concept.
“Engineering, design and electrification teams drew on their past experience developing electric concept vehicles,” Chevrolet said in a statement. “Their aim was to create a unique, intelligent vehicle for tomorrow’s younger consumers by utilizing innovative car networking technology.”
As you can tell from the photos, the Chevrolet-FNR consists of a very aggressive and futuristic design. Some significant design touches include laser headlights and taillights, dragonfly doors, magnetic hubless wheel electric motors, and a wireless charging system. The FNR Concept also has the capabilities to be your personal assistant and can map out the best and fastest route to your destination.
Of course, since no one will be driving the Chevrolet-FNR, the front seats can swing around to face the rear seats so passengers can interact with each other.
