After what seemed like the longest rollout in automotive history, the new Toyota Supra has been fully revealed. And now Toyota has updated its website with all the color choices available for the first models, and there are some great ones.
As you’d expect, there are a couple of color schemes exclusive to the first year of the new generation. Those colors are Absolute Zero White, Nocturnal Black and Renaissance Red 2.0, and distinguished but the black wheels and red rear view mirrors. They’re subtle, for sure, but we think each looks pretty sharp.
Far less subtle is the Nitro Yellow, and if we were choosing the color for our Supra, that — with black wheels — would likely be what we’d opt for. That said, it’s hard to tell exactly how matte the Phantom Matte Gray will be, and if it’s as flat as some of the aftermarket wraps we’ve seen, this would be our personal hands down winner.
We also like the Downshift Blue, but not quite as much the Ultrasonic Blue Mics that corporate cousin Lexus offers. That color made our Ten Awesome Factory Car Colors list a while back, and we still think it rocks.
No outlet has gotten a chance to test the latest Supra just yet, but we should get our hands on one a little later this year. And if you’re looking to get your hands on the latest generation of Toyota’s iconic sports car, you should get you name on a the wait list at your local AutoNation Toyota dealer sooner rather than later.
We imagine most will be spoken for before they even hit the showroom!
