The Mazda CX-30 is a Beautiful New Compact Crossover

In the automotive press, it’s not unusual to head a company’s vehicles described — derisively — as “Russian dolls,” in reference to the nested figurines identical in everything but size. And while you can certainly see the familial relationship between the new Mazda CX-30, and its siblings, the CX-3 and CX-5, we think these gorgeous lines fall squarely into “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” category. That said, the CX-30 will sit, or nest, between them, creating a line where every buyer will get to pick a size that’s…

Still Focused: 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Test Drive Review

The Mazda Miata turns 30 years old this year, and in addition to the limited-production 30th Anniversary Edition, the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is celebrating this big milestone with more power, more tech and more style. Mazda Has Announced Pricing for the 2019 Mazda3

Mazda unveiled the redesigned Mazda3 late last year, and now we’re getting the first info on what it’ll cost to put one in your driveway. At $23,600, the hatch will command a slight premium over the sedan, which will go for 21,000 in base trim. It’s a bump of around $3,000 from previous models, but in return for the extra coin, buyers will get Mazda’s new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which pumps out a healthy 186 horsepower. That’s a jump from the previous model’s 155 ponies, and if those numbers look…

2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Grand Touring Test Drive Review

The fourth-generation MX-5 Miata just gets better with age. In March of 2015, Mazda started producing the all-new smaller, lighter, and quicker “ND” replacement for the outgoing “NC” Miata. Its more aggressive styling marked the next stage in the evolution of Mazda’s KODO – Soul of Motion design language. By focusing on a “Gram Strategy,” engineers made the 2016 Miata approximately 150 pounds lighter than its predecessor. They also equipped it with a new SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that gave models equipped with the available six-speed manual transmission 25 percent…
