Baby Cherokee: 2019 Jeep Compass High Altitude Test Drive

Capable, comfortable, and with some pretty good foul weather chops, the 2019 Jeep Compass High Altitude is slotted directly between the mid-size Cherokee, and the boxy little Renegade. With a body that takes cues from the Grand Cherokee, it’s quite attractive. However, with only 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque, the performance isn’t the focus. This doesn’t mean it lacks a place amongst die-hard Jeep enthusiasts. Instead, the Compass appeals to those who may never go off-road, but yearn to be a part of the Jeep family. 2019 Jeep…

It was a spectacular showing for the brand-new member of the Jeep family, and demonstrated that all the time Ma Mopar’s engineers spend testing in the wilds of Moab pays dividends when their products hit dealerships. Obviously,…

NW Outdoor Activity Vehicle Awards: Jeep Gladiator Wins Best Pickup

At last month’s Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle Awards, the Jeep Gladiator went up against a bevy of great new rigs, and came away with a win in the pickup category. The citation comes in addition to winning the overall Activity Vehicle of the Year award, making it start to look like this warrior doesn’t want to share any of the limelight. But given how long Jeep fans have waited for a pickup to be back on the menu, we don’t have too much of it hogging all the attention for…
