With fresh and updated versions of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the BMW 5 Series, other luxury automakers are hoping to catch up in an attempt to take a piece of the mid-size sedan segment. However, there’s one mid-size luxury sedan that is being overlooked, and in our opinion, it may be better than the two leaders of the segment. Meet the 2018 Volvo S90.
While the mid-size sedans like the Lexus GS, Audi A6, and Cadillac CT6 are always looking to take on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series, Volvo is infrequently even mentioned as a solid competitor. In an attempt to change that perception, Volvo went back to the drawing board when developing the next-generation S90, and took everything we admire and cherish about their award-winning Volvo XC90 SUV and packed it into a mid-size sedan. Let’s take a closer look at the 2018 Volvo S90 T6 Inscription.
