The 2017 Lincoln MKZ is getting serious at the 2015 LA Auto Show with a complete new redesign, a powerful engine lineup and new innovative technology.
“Our customers are looking for three attributes in a luxury midsize sedan – technologies that ease their everyday experience, a beautiful design that is crafted with attention to detail, and a vehicle with impressive power that makes it a pleasure to drive,” said Kumar Galhotra, president of Lincoln. “The new Lincoln MKZ elevates all of these attributes – and many more – to create a compelling entry in this large and highly competitive portion of the luxury market.”
The powertrain choices are highlighted by a 3.0 liter GTDI twin-turbo V6 Lincoln-exclusive engine making 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque (available with all-wheel-drive only). The 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is powered by a 2.0 liter GTDI 4-cylinder engine making 245 horsepower and is only available with front-wheel-drive.
A new option called the Driver’s Package is available on the Lincoln MKZ with a 3.0 liter V6. It features retuned continuously controlled damping and suspension for enhanced driving dynamics – similar to the setup you will find on the Ford Focus RS.
The new 2017 Lincoln MKZ available at AutoNation Lincoln dealers in the summer 2016.
