There is no stopping Hyundai and Kia Motor Group in their efforts to move more upscale. After bringing its ultra-luxury Hyundai Equus to the United States, the Korean automaker group is now getting ready to offer the full-size Kia Cadenza.
Kia today announced prices of the 2014 Cadenza, which will hit dealers later this month carrying a starting price tag of $35,100. That may be expensive for a Kia, but the model features a bunch of standard features including keyless entry, advanced navigation system with SiriusXM Traffic and UVO eServices, Bluetooth wireless technology,an eight-inch touch screen, 550-watt Infinity 12-speaker audio system, Rear Camera Display and leather-trimmed seats with heat and power adjustment in the front.
The Kia Cadenza is available in two different option packages including Luxury and Technology. The Cadenza Luxury model starts at $38,100 and features more upscale touches (on top of the standard features) including a full-length panoramic sunroof and power retractable sunshade, Nappa leather trim with heated rear seats and ventilated 12-way adjustable driver seat, HID headlamps with adaptive front lighting system (AFLS), a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, a heated steering wheel with power tilt and telescoping capabilities, two-position memory setting for driver’s seat, outside mirrors, and steering column. Adding the Technology Package, starting at $41,100, builds on the Luxury Package with 19-inch alloy wheels, an electronic parking brake, Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC), Blind Spot Detection System (BSD), Lane Departure Warning System.

Power for the 2014 Kia Cadenza comes from a 3.3 liter V6 making 293-hp. The engines is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
