Team AutoNation is proud to participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s upcoming Light the Night Walk! Its mission is to find a cure, and ensure every blood cancer patient has access to life-saving treatments. All funds raised will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
This rain-or-shine event is open to folks of all ages, and the total walk distance is only one mile. That makes participating a great way for a community to honor and celebrate those touched by cancer. Light the Night is held annually, and has already raised over $129,400 so far this year! But there’s over a week left until the event, and the organizers are still working toward a 600k-goal.
After the walk is complete, there will be a fireworks show and a concert, and plenty of refreshments for all those who walked. This year’s event will be held Saturday, November 11th at 5 p.m., and start at CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Regardless of where you are, you can donate to the cause online at the official website, and if you’re a Fort Lauderdale or Pembroke Pines local, make sure to come down and show support for this worthy cause! AutoNation will see you there!
