Report: 2015 Mini Countryman may be headed to New York

A new report surfaced from AutoGuide, who learned that Mini could be reintroducing the Countryman with a mid-cycle refresh. Official: Mini announces new line of engines for next generation models

Mini recently revealed its latest line of engines due in the coming new generation of Mini cars. The engine choices will range from a 1.5L three-cylinder as the base engine, and an all-new 2.0L four-pot for the Cooper S. The base 1.5L three-banger will produce 134hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. It is turbocharged and will be offered with an overboost function, good for a maximum of 170 lb-ft of torque.
