Official: The 2015 Cadillac Escalade gets a new Platinum model, gains eight-speed auto

Cadillac announced that the 2015 Escalade gets a variety of mid-year model updates, despite only being revealed and launched recently. According to the latest press release, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade gains both an eight-speed automatic across the line, as well as a range-topping Platinum Collection model loaded up the wazoo with options. Report: GM mulling new powertrain options for new generation of SUVs

Amidst changes in political and societal climate, General Motors is apparently working on some new powertrain options for the next generation of full-size SUVs. Report: Cadillac considering new crossover to add to Escalade lineup

Cadillac is rumored to be considering a large crossover variant to add to their all-new 2015 Escalade lineup. While the new generation Escalade still rides on a classic body-on-frame SUV platform versus a unibody crossover, Cadillac cannot deny the success and demand of the full-size luxury crossover market.
