Pricing has been announced for Toyota’s upcoming lineup of former Scion vehicles.
Since Scion, a subsidiary of Toyota, was closed and absorbed by its parent company, their vehicles will be going into Toyota’s 2017 lineup.
2017 Toyota 86
Formerly the Scion FR-S, the 2017 Toyota 86 comes into the market with an improved look and a sportier performance. Toyota has given the 2017 86 a new front end with a next level look featuring LED headlights, a new fog lamp bezel, and a redesigned bumper.
A redesigned rear end features a new bumper with integrated diffuser, LED taillights, and more.
The 2017 Toyota 86 will sport alloy wheels with a twisted spoke design.
Under the hood of the new 2017 Toyota 86 is a 4-cylinder engine putting out 205-hp and 156-lb.ft. of torque paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. To help the car not roll backwards the Toyota 86 comes with Hill Start Assist Control.
Toyota has priced the 2017 86 at an MSRP of $26,255* for models with a six-speed manual transmission and $26,975* for automatic transmission-equipped models.
2017 Toyota Corolla iM
The newest hatchback to the Toyota lineup comes in the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM. This versatile 5-door offers many of space for cargo and is stylish to boot.
The double-wishbone suspension in the rear offers a sporty ride while standard 17-inch alloy wheels give the Toyota Corolla iM sporty look.
The 2017 Toyota Corolla iM comes with a 1.8L, 4-cylinder engine creating 137 hp. Toyota’s automatic continuously variable valve timing gives the iM a responsive feel and a wider torque curve.
Consumers can get the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM in either an automatic or manual transmission, both of which come with Hill start assist.
A six speed manual transmission equipped 2017 Toyota Corolla iM starts at an MSRP of $18,750*, while the automatic variants starting at an MSRP of $19,490*.
2017 Toyota Corolla
Along with the two former Scion vehicles, Toyota has announced the pricing for the 2017 Toyota Corolla sedan and the addition of a 50th anniversary special edition.
The 2017 Toyota Corolla gets an improved look with a new front Grille flanked by LED headlamps. New freshly redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels now come on the LE and XLE models, while the SE and XSE models get standard 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the 2017 Toyota Corolla offers an Almond, Ash with Dark Grey, or Black and Brown interior color, depending on trim. The SV can also be had in a SoftTex-trimmed interior with Vivid Blue, Orange Zest, or Black Premium fabric inserts.
Technology-wise, the 2017 Toyota Corolla comes with standard Bluetooth and Entune Audio in the 7-inch standard touchscreen display. Higher trims of the 2017 Toyota Corolla come with premium audio systems.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Toyota is releasing a limited number Corolla 50th anniversary special edition in the exclusive Black Cherry Pearl color, or an available Classic Sliver or Blizzard Pearl.
