Introducing the All-New 2018 Toyota C-HR

The all-new 2018 Toyota C-HR compact crossover is a flashy little number that delivers a punchy road performance. Smaller in stature than the RAV4, the bold new crossover features an attractive Coupe High-Rider design that is punctuated by a rear spoiler and functional rear wing.

The new Toyota crossover is available in two trim levels: XLE and XLE Premium. Exterior colors of the 2018 Toyota C-HR include:

  • Blizzard Pearl
  • Ruby Flare Pearl
  • Black Sand Pearl
  • Blue Eclipse Metallic
  • Magnetic Gray Metallic
  • Silver Knockout Metallic

The C-HR is powered by a 2.0 four-cylinder engine that put out 144-hp and 139 lb-ft of torque and distributes power to its front wheels with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The drive is buoyant and nimble with responsive handling and cornering.

This is due in part to Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) which lends to the C-HR’s low center of gravity, and a sense of weightlessness, but managing to bulk up with its upper build strength. Another first Toyota has employed in the new crossover is the double-wishbone suspension and shock absorbers that have urethane upper supports for improved ride comfort and dexterity.

The Generous Features of the 2018 Toyota C-HR Crossover
Notable mention: The 2018 Toyota C-HR XLE features a rearview camera inset in the rear view mirror for the ultimate point of view when going in reverse. This feature has been added on the driver’s side of the mirror, possibly the safest and most convenient place for it.

Tech features that come standard with C-HR XLE models include: Bluetooth connectivity, Voice Recognition, a Gracenote Music database, 7-inch touchscreen, a stereo with six speakers, HD radio, and a USB port. A generous list of safety features also come standard and include hill-start assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, pre-collisions system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, forward collision warning, and tire pressure monitoring.

XLE Premium adds fog lights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, keyless ignition, heated front seats and two-way lumbar support for the driver’s seat.

There’s a chance your local AutoNation Toyota dealership may already have either the XLE or XLE Premium, or both C-HR’s in stock. You can check inventory or contact the dealership directly to inquire about when they may be receiving this bold new model from Toyota today.
