Mazda has included some version of their Mazda Connect infotainment systems in all of their models, including the Mazda3, Mazda6, MX-5 Miata, CX-3, CX-5, and the upcoming CX-9. These systems allow you to connect with the vehicle to a greater extent than ever before.

Mazda Connect Telephone

Your Mazda can connect to your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled cellphone so that you can stay connected while on the road. Simply connect your cell phone to your car using the settings in your phone and the settings in your car (addressed later).

After your Mazda syncs with your contacts, you’ll be able to use voice commands to call or message your family, friends, colleagues, and more. You can also respond to text messages you receive with built-in or customized responses. Mazda Connect can even give you social media notifications via the in-car apps for Facebook and Twitter.

Mazda Connect Music

Your Mazda Connect infotainment system gives you access to a ton of entertainment options. First and foremost, there’s a standard AM and FM radio system, a CD player, and even a DVD player (in some models). If you have a smartphone or ancillary device, you can connect to it via USB port, AUX cable, or wirelessly via Bluetooth.

After connected, you’ll have access to in-car apps for Aha, Stitcher, and Pandora Radio programs (varies by model), along with access to any music you can connect to on your phone. The possibilities are endless for entertainment streamed from your smartphone or ancillary device.

Mazda Connect Navigation (optional)

Mazda Connect has available Navigation software that helps you keep connected to your directions even when cell service is gone. This GPS-enabled option comes with voice commands for navigation, a touchscreen, and more. You can favorite frequently used destinations. Mazda Connect will even find the quickest route between you and your destination based on historic data that is updated by your car’s computer.

You can even get on-screen speed limits to ensure you’re never speeding. Easily search for gas stations, weather summaries and forecasts for your destination (available with connected services), and more.

For the traveler in you, there’s nothing better than utilizing the in-car navigation software to get to your destination.

Mazda Connect Settings

When you need to change the settings of your car, customize items, or see when maintenance should next be performed on your Mazda, check out the Settings section of your Mazda Connect infotainment system.

When you’re in the settings menu, you can customize the system’s volume, sound, and display brightness. Your system also has the ability to change the vehicle, device, navigation or maps, and system to be customized to you. When you go into the volume customization, you can change the sound quality, which speakers it comes out of, some equalizer settings, and more.

Not only can you customize the system, but the system will tell you when you need to bring your Mazda into your local AutoNation Mazda service center for scheduled maintenance. Oil changes, tire rotation, and other maintenance requirements are all customizable in the Settings menu!
