AutoNation Presents Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure on April 2

A free family event that involves a car show, live music, and delicious food? If you’re in the Miami Lakes area, make sure to mark April 2 on your calendar, as Cars for a Cure is bound to be an event you won’t want to miss. This year AutoNation is partnering with Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure in order to support the cause of the fight against cancer.

Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure Foundation was created to raise funds for cancer research after Vice Mayor Roberto Alonso passed away from a rare form of cancer in 2013. They’ve teamed up with The Miami Foundation and the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Research, and plan to use the proceeds from the car show to benefit the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Last year Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure boasted over 250 cars on display and over 3,000 attendees. This year they have live music planned from performers like Mantrap and DJ Alex Gutierrez, and vendors like Salsa Fiesta and Italy Today. Last year had an incredible turn-out. This year promises the same- and more.

Visit the Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure website to learn more about how to register your vehicle for the car show and where to go to enjoy the festivities on April 2. For a car show of a different kind? Visit your local AutoNation dealership. From coast to coast, AutoNation wants you to drive safe and drive pink.
