AutoNation Chairman’s Answer the Call Award: Mo Ibrahim

As AutoNation drives its performance from good to great, we must recognize those who go the extra mile for our customers. This recognition program awards Associates for efforts which exceed their normal responsibilities and add significant value to the organization and our customers.

Mo Ibrahim is an e-Commerce Sales Associate with AutoNation Hyundai North Richland Hills. He was nominated by Mike Purtell for his service concerning customer Abdul Kargbo.

“In November, 2016, Mo sold a 2017 Hyundai Elantra to Abdul Kargbo. One month after Abdul purchased his car, he hit some debris on the road and blew out two tires. He called Mo and asked for the roadside assistance number. While Abdul was on the side of the road, two of his wheels and tires were stolen. Mo found out that Abdul was walking to work while waiting on his insurance company to process the claim. A few days later, Mo came to me and asked if we had a couple of extra donut tires, I asked what he needed them for. After hearing the story, I told Mo that I had four tires I could give the customer. We informed our General Manager and found out we could also get four wheels for $400, that’s what we did. When Mo told Abdul, he was almost in tears as he did not have the money to take care of it. Thanks to Mo’s customer service and genuine care, he helped a customer in his time of need.”
