2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe Test Drive Review

Following the debut of the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, we were left wondering whether or not the luxury German automaker would offer the same stellar looks in its other coupes. Well, the sleek and luxurious design eventually trickled down to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and now the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe.

The E-Class Coupe was always one of our favorite luxury coupes and that feeling remains the same with the all-new 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe. Not only does the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe look stunning, it offers an outstanding comfortable driving during long cruises and a surprising grip when you’re feeling a little rebellious. Let’s take a closer look at the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe – the E400 4Matic in this case.

2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe Exterior

Usually, it’s the front end of a vehicle that gives the exterior the most character. However, in the case of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe, it’s the rear that really stands out. The long horizontal LED taillights convey the perfect balance between sports and luxury. The front end of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is highlighted by a low-positioned grille, a long hood with power domes, and the signature central star. The exterior design is further enhanced by four frameless side windows.

While the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is technically based on the new E-Class Sedan, it is 2.6-inches shorter in wheelbase and 3.8 inches in overall length. The new E-Class Coupe sits on a wheelbase that measures 113.1 inches with an overall length of 190-inches. The width comes in at 80.9 inches while the height stands at 56.3 inches.

Overall, we are very fascinated with the design of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe. Amongst its rivals like the Audi A5 and the BMW 6-Series, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe definitely stands out with a posh and sporty design.
