Offering an exclusive appearance package and special performance tuning, the Charger Daytona brings back the essence of Motor City’s golden years while continuing to deliver technological advancements and the ultimate driving experience.

2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 Exterior
When it comes to making a statement on the road, few cars do it as well as the 2018 Charger Daytona with its ‘60s-era inspired stripes and eye-catching paint colors.
In terms of physical design, little has changed from the previous year, and that’s a good thing. The Charger is confident and menacing in its stance while also exuding modern elegance and refinement.
On the Daytona model, the standard hood is replaced by an aluminum power bulge hood that features a functional air scoop, adding an aggressive look along with enhanced engine cooling. Pair this with the Charger’s signature crosshair grille, and you’ve got a face that means business.
Our test model came painted in a throwback color called Destroyer Grey, and was accented with Daytona graphics on the trunk, roof, and hood. Additionally, 20-inch low gloss black forged aluminum wheels, black Brembo brake calipers, and 392 fender decals hint at the vehicle’s performance potential.
At the rear, a matte black spoiler and Dodge’s signature racetrack taillights complete the athletic look of the 2018 Charger Daytona.
With so much attitude and muscle car flair, you’re guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.
2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 Interior
Made with maximum comfort in mind, the interior of the 2018 Charger Daytona features Nappa leather and Alcantara seats, along with a spacious and efficient design. And just like the outside, heritage-inspired Daytona script can be found throughout the cabin, adding that extra touch to a car that’s already full of character.
In terms of operation, the driver-focused dash puts everything in view and reach, particularly the award-winning 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C infotainment system. Using the high-resolution touchscreen, you can access a multitude of entertainment and connectivity apps, like satellite radio, GPS navigation, WiFi hotspot, Sirius XM Travel Link, and more.
Our test model came equipped with the optional Customer Preferred Package, which adds carbonite accents, premium floor mats, heated & ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, interior LED lighting, and illuminated rear cup holders.
A 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system and power sunroof round out the long list of passenger amenities inside the warm and inviting cabin.
Whether you’re commuting, cruising, or taking a long road trip, the 2018 Charger Daytona offers a level of comfort, convenience, and familiarity that’s reminiscent of your own living room.
2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 Performance
The three numbers on the fender say it all — Dodge’s legendary 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine powers the Charger Daytona 392 with 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.
A MOPAR cold-air intake, 8-speed automatic transmission, and wide 275/40ZR20 tires help launch the Charger from 0 – 60 mph in a matter of seconds, while fade-resistant Brembo brakes bring it to a stop just as fast.
Specially-tuned Bilstein high-performance suspension and a driver-selectable Sport mode bring the Charger daytona’s capabilities beyond the drag strip with enhanced responsiveness and confident cornering. When Sport mode is activated, steering weight is increased and the powertrain takes on a more aggressive personality, making sure optimum power is available without hesitation.
And while you’re tackling the asphalt, the HEMI engine now belts out its signature roar through an active exhaust system — electronic valves automatically open under high-throttle conditions to increase exhaust flow and command the attention of bystanders.
Other performance-related features include a 180-MPH speedometer and Dodge Performance Pages, which offer a variety of vehicle monitoring tools as well as lap timers.
Fuel economy for the 2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 is an EPA estimated 15 mpg city and 25 mpg highway**.
