Buick is a brand that doesn’t readily pop into the minds of new young car shoppers but the brand has been going through a bit of a resurrection to attract a younger crowd. Take for example an extended lineup that includes the chic new Buick Cascada Convertible and cheeky commercials that show the younger generation being “wowed” by vehicles in its lineup.
In fact, many young car shoppers are very much unaware of Buick’s history and stamp on the American automotive history. The American upscale brand is the oldest active American automotive brand and helped automobile pioneer William C. Durant, establish General Motors in 1908. In the year that followed, Durant went on to purchase the Cadillac brand along with GMC and eventually started Chevrolet in 1915. 110 years later, we now have the General Motors we see today but the storied history of the company started with Buick.
With all that being said, we were rather excited when we learned we would get to spend a week with one of Buick’s most successful models – the 2018 Buick LaCrosse.
