The 2017 INFINITI QX50 brings together the best design elements of a coupe, luxury vehicle, and crossover to deliver a sleek, flowing form that stands with confidence and elegance.

A recently updated front bumper and lower front fascia house LED daytime running lights while the signature double-arch front grille announces the QX50 wherever it goes. Sweeping towards the back is a coupe-like roofline and character line, ending at a powered rear hatch accompanied by a newly introduce rear bumper and lower fascia.

Our test model came in a glimmering Hagane Blue exterior color, and featured 19- inch aluminum alloy wheels along with high-intensity discharge xenon headlights and an adaptive front lighting system as part of the optional Deluxe Touring package.

Other notable exterior features include LED front fog lights, LED daytime running lights, power moonroof, aluminum roof rails, and power-adjustable heated outside mirrors.

The 2017 QX50 definitely stands out on the road with its unique blend of performance-inspired design and luxurious detailing.

 

2017 INFINITI QX50 Interior

As the sequential welcome lighting guides you into the 2017 QX50, you’ll find yourself engulfed in premium materials and high-quality craftsmanship.

The interior features leather-appointed seats, with heated 8-way power adjustment for the driver and 4-way power adjustment for the front passenger. The driver is also treated to adjustable lumbar support along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Anchoring the INFINITI’s signature dual-arch dashboard is a 7-inch multimedia hub where you can easily access navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth phone connectivity, vehicle settings, and more. Our test model’s available Premium Package turns up the fun with a Bose 11-speaker sound system for rich, crisp audio and deep bass.

The available Deluxe Touring package enhanced the QX50’s utility by equipping power up-folding second-row seats, which lay flat with the push of a button to expand rear cargo capacity.

Other interior amenities include dual-zone automatic temperature control, entry/exit assist for the driver’s seat and steering wheel, and a driver’s seat position memory system that’s linked to individual Intelligent Keys.

 

2017 INFINITI QX50 Performance

Powering every 2017 QX50 is a quick-revving 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 325 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque — this is the same type of performance you’d find in most sports cars!

A 7-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control sends power to the rear wheels, although the QX50 can also be had with all-wheel drive. Those who like to be more involved can control the action with manual shift mode, which features downshift rev matching to always keep the engine in its optimum torque range.

The QX50 has coupe-like handling characteristics thanks to finely tuned independent front and multi-link rear suspension, aided with front and rear stabilizer bars. This translates to quick chassis response and confident cornering for when you want to get a bit more spirited. During daily-use, the QX50’s ride quality is comfortable without being numb, providing plenty of feedback from the road.
